When we decided to sell our home in San Pedro we interviewed a number of agents, but picked George because his presentation was the best one we’d seen. We figured it would be an ordinary sale, but it was far from ordinary. First, our HOA didn’t allow advertising homes for sale, Second, the HOA had moved and we couldn’t find their new address, so we didn’t know how to get hold of them to get a copy of the complex’s rules to give to a buyer. Third, and worst of all, when George reviewed our title report, he discovered there was a lien on our property that we thought had been removed. Since we were going to be moving to Alabama the next month, we were very worried we’d never get the home sold. George told us not to worry…that he’d handle everything. He did! He contacted all the other agents he’d done business with and found one with a buyer who wanted our home. He used his contacts to find the new address of our HOA so we could get the documents we needed. We gave him a limited power of attorney to handle the lien, which we thought would be very difficult to remove quickly, but George took care of it without much trouble. If we ever come back to the LA area, there’s no other real estate agent I would use. He fulfilled every promise he made.

When my wife told me she was expecting our 2nd child, we realized we’d outgrown our condo and it was time to get something bigger. George was referred to us by a friend and we couldn’t have been more pleased with him an agent. We told George that, with small children, it was critical for us to have a home where the children could play safely. Within a week he had found a home located at the end of a cul-de-sac, with a fenced in backyard. It was perfect! Since there were other offers, George tried to make ours stand out. First, he asked us to write the sellers a letter telling them how much we loved the home. He took the letter, along with our offer and hand-carried it to the seller’s agent. He was right…we got the home!! If you’re looking for an agent who really listens, George is the guy you want.

My mom passed away and we had to sell her home because we weren’t in a position to maintain 2 mortgages.  The problem was, my mom had taken her property out of her Trust to get a HELOC Loan, and hadn’t put it back.  I was sure my wife & I were going to have to go through Probate.  Not only were we concerned about the legal costs, but with the obvious time delay we feared we’d lose my mom’s property to foreclosure.  George told us there might be a way to get the property back in the Trust so, as Trustee, we could sell the property.  We worked with him to find an attorney who indeed got my mom’s home back into the Trust.  George listed the property and found a Cash Buyer within a week!  When we had to get some repairs done before closing Escrow, George was able to get the Contractors to agree to being paid out of Escrow, so we didn’t have any out-of-pocket expense to complete the sale.  We don’t know what we would have done without George.  While we were sure things looked hopeless, George got it done!  We can’t speak highly enough of him.  He’s thorough, persistent, and creative.  If you need a Realtor, George is your guy!!
